Wiring guidance according to
SAS 10142
Follow this guide if you might need any assistance wiring or troubleshooting connections in your home.
Instructions.
A DB board must be located between 1,2m and 2,2m from the floor.
Like most electrical regulations, this height regulation is simple common sense as regards to safety. The DB should not be too low (within reach of small child) and neither should it be located too high (making it difficult for an average adult to easily reach in the event of emergency).
A modern DB board has a rated main circuit breaker of 60A receiving and distributing a voltage of 220 to 230V, an earth leakage, a surge arrestor, circuit breakers and a digital geyser timer.
